


Many students find playing a fourth finger difficult when first starting. Unless marked with a flat symbol put your finger a whole step away from the end of the fingerboard.ī flat on the A string - Place first finger low towards scroll and end of fingerboard.ī on the E string - Using your fourth finger, reach a whole step above your third finger. Unless the note shows a flat symbol, it is played a whole step away from your first finger as a natural.ī flat on the G string - Place your second finger right next to your first finger on the G string.ī on the A string - This B note is played with your first finger.
